What if I need my photos for the yearbook?
I suggest booking early- August or September- so you have time to submit to yearbook (Usually by October/November). Please check with your school about their deadlines.
As the Fall Season picks up it gets harder for me to rush photos to you.. I always provide a "Sneak Peek" from which you can take photos within 24-48 hours of your session.. the turn around time when I'm busy is 2-3 weeks.
What should I know if I want the beach?
The magic of beach sunsets is unmatched but part of what make those sunsets so magical is that they are hard to plan for! Additionally- cloudy, foggy conditions seem to roll in during summer months and I have found most success in Winter and Early Spring!
Also consider that wind is often a factor at the beach and those mild winter months seem to have less wind.
What should I wear?
While outfit choices will likely change based on the location, I suggest a LONG dress or skirt, a short dress or skirt & jeans with a cute top.
The combo of these 3 outfits allows you playful movement, a polished look and one where you can sit, use pockets, etc.
When should I book if I want Wild Flowers?
Wild Flowers are just that- WILD and every year I find them but it does require some flexibility in the Spring... usually later March/April. Sometimes I find yellow, sometimes purple, sometimes white!
If incorporating flowers is important to you, I encourage you also bring florals to your session. I work with Blooms by Joella and Wild Rose & Thyme all the time for floral bouquets & crowns.
Can a bunch of my friends all do a college decision session together?
Absolutely!!
Book a bestie session and you can divide up the $900 cost between the group. We can take individual and group shots during your two hours.

Weekend or Weekday???
During the Fall & Spring when the days are longer I appreciate being able to schedule on weekdays if your schedule allows. I understand senior year is busy and my clients are typically involved in lots of activities that make it tricky to schedule... Weekends can be booked when I can but keep in mind that I'm a mom to a dancer, football player and soccer player... so my own personal calendar is busy.
I cannot do Filoli Sessions on weekdays during the school year due to the earlier session time (3:30-5p)
During the winter when the sun sets really early I will communicate location options as I am a high school teacher and I don't get out of school until 3:30pm
